Dear
colleague
The
Egyptian National Hypertension Project, the Egyptian
Hypertension League and the National Heart, Lung
and Blood Institute (USA), have the pleasure to
invite you to the First Pan Arab Conference on
Hypertension to be held in Cairo from December
6th - 8th, 1993. The meeting will be held in the
elegant Marriott Hotel, few minutes away from
the world famous attractions of magnificent Cairo.
Over
the last few years, major advances were achieved
in basic, clinical, and epidemiologic research
related to hypertension. This Conference, the
first of its kind in the Arab world, will discuss
many of these advances. Hypertension and its complications
are a common problem in this part of the world
and do not receive enough of our attention.
Members
of the Organizing Committee have prepared an interesting
program which includes symposia, workshops, state
of the art lectures, "How to"and "
Meet the Experts" sessions that will cover
a broad spectrum of topics in the fields of prevention,
diagnosis and treatment of hypertension.
We
can promise you new ideas and clinically relevant
information for the management of your hypertensive
patients. Furthermore, the Conference is offering
two valuable Young Investigators' Awards for the
best submitted abstracts on clinical and epidemiological
aspects of hypertension.
Looking
forward to see you in Cairo.
