Welcome Address
Dear Colleague
On behalf of the Egyptian hypertension
society and the pan Arab society of Hypertension,
we would like to invite you to attend and actively
participate in our conjoint meeting, to held on the
9th to the 11th of april.2003.
The field of hypertension has dramatically advanced
during the last decade with tremendous improvements
in the interests and knowledge of new pharmacological
modalities and laboratory evaluation. With expanding
knowledge of genetics and molecular biology, new horizons
have been set.
During our conjoint meeting, we will try to explore
these fields.
The meeting will include both clinical and basic science
as well as free communication a very distinguished
faculty of international guest speakers will be invited
to share their experience with the Arab and the experts.
You are encouraged to participate in planning the
scientific program by your suggestions and comments.
We are looking forward for you
contribution.

List of Main Activities
Both specialists and primary care
physicians will find educational events suited to
their needs. Breakfast seminars, satellite symposia,
hot debates, latest braking trials , workshop ,original
contributions and state of the art lectures from
prestigious faculty covering a wide rang of topics
will constitute the main activities of the meeting.
Moreover, a special session will
be devoted to the discussion of the epidemiology
of hypertension in the Arab world and its impact
on individual countries.

be held on day before the conference, where many
